Mothering Sunday

CHURCH was packed for the Mothering Sunday Parade service.
During this extra-special service, Graham Fairburn from the ROPE organisation - Relief for Oppressed People Everywhere - spoke of a mother's love, using the story of Moses in the bullrushes.
He also gave us an insight into their work transporting us to Afghanistan, Peru and Africa thanks to help from volunteer mums and children.
And a number of Smartie boxes were returned filled with cash for the work of ROPE. There’s still time to bring back yours.
Flowers were given out to mums during the service by Reader David Kavanagh.
